General Terms and Conditions for han.sik Gift Vouchers
These terms and conditions govern the purchase, delivery, use, and any claims related to gift vouchers for services provided by han.sik restaurant (hereinafter referred to as the “voucher” and the “restaurant”). The purchaser is a natural or legal person who orders, purchases, or presents the voucher for redemption (hereinafter referred to as the “customer”).
1. Introductory Provisions

The voucher entitles the holder to a one-time use of services and consumption at the restaurant in the value stated on the voucher. The voucher is not a payment instrument and is non-transferable unless explicitly agreed otherwise or stated on the voucher.
2. Voucher Purchase Options
- E-voucher – order via website or e-mail. The customer provides contact and billing details, the value, and the number of vouchers. After order confirmation, the customer receives payment information. Once payment is received, the voucher is delivered in PDF format. It may be used electronically or printed out.
- In-person purchase at the restaurant – without prior order (up to 10 pcs), payment in cash or by card.
- Printed voucher by post – by arrangement. Delivery is charged according to the current price list, and the voucher is sent by registered mail.
- Bulk orders (corporate, events) – individual agreement including value, design, validity, and invoicing terms.
3. Voucher Price and Payment Method
The standard voucher value starts from CZK 500, or as agreed. The voucher price corresponds to its nominal value. Delivery costs (for printed vouchers) are not included in the voucher price.
Payment methods:
- E-voucher and printed voucher – bank transfer or according to the current offer (e.g. online payment gateway).
- In-person purchase – payment in cash or by card.
- Corporate orders – invoicing by agreement, standard due date within 14 days.
4. Voucher Redemption
The voucher may only be redeemed at han.sik restaurant. It must be presented to the staff before the bill is issued. A printed or electronic version with a readable code is accepted. If it is presented only at the time of payment, the restaurant may refuse additional deduction.
The voucher is redeemable in a single use only. It cannot be split across multiple visits unless explicitly agreed before redemption. If the amount on the bill exceeds the voucher value, the customer pays the difference. If the amount does not reach the voucher value, the unused balance is forfeited. The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash, even in case of partial use. The voucher cannot be used for tips.
Promotions, special offers, and tasting evenings – voucher redemption is not automatically guaranteed and may be subject to prior reservation or limited by capacity. Current information on the website or as provided by the staff applies.
5. Voucher Validity
The voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase / issue unless stated otherwise. The expiry date is indicated directly on the voucher. After the expiry date, the voucher becomes invalid without any right to compensation or refund. The voucher validity cannot be extended retroactively.
In the event of loss, damage, or theft of the voucher, no replacement can be issued unless the parties agree otherwise in writing before the voucher is redeemed.
6. Order Cancellation
An e-voucher order may be cancelled up until the order is confirmed by the restaurant. The request must be sent by e-mail to info@ihansik.cz. After the order has been confirmed, it cannot be unilaterally cancelled, except for withdrawal pursuant to clause 7.
7. Withdrawal from the Contract for Distance Purchases
When purchasing a voucher online or by e-mail (outside the business premises), the consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason, provided the voucher has not been used, even partially. The request must contain the customer’s name, voucher code, purchase date, and withdrawal request, and must be sent to info@ihansik.cz. After verification, the amount will be refunded by bank transfer.
If the voucher has already been used (even partially), the right of withdrawal expires. For vouchers purchased directly at the restaurant, the right of withdrawal does not arise.
In the event of a dispute, out-of-court resolution may be pursued through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz).
8. Complaints
We recommend resolving any issue immediately with the staff when the problem arises. If it is not resolved, a complaint may be submitted by e-mail. The complaint must include:
- customer’s name,
- voucher code,
- date of purchase / redemption,
- description of the problem and, if applicable, the staff’s position.
Without the above information, the complaint may not be processed. Each complaint will be assessed individually.
9. Personal Data Protection (GDPR)
The data controller is BAMBOOCLUB s.r.o. The data is processed for the purposes of order processing, accounting, legal protection, and, where applicable, marketing. Without providing the data, the order cannot be completed. The customer has rights under the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection. The processing is lawful under Article 6 GDPR.
The data is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and subsequently in accordance with statutory time limits (typically 10 years for tax documents). Marketing data is retained for a maximum of 10 years or until consent is withdrawn. Data may only be disclosed to necessary entities (accountant, IT provider, payment gateway). Any transfer to third countries shall only take place in accordance with the GDPR on the basis of standard contractual clauses.

10. Liability and Limitations
The restaurant shall not be liable for operational restrictions caused by force majeure (energy outages, security measures, government regulations). In such cases, the validity may be extended by individual agreement, but there is no legal entitlement to such extension. The voucher cannot be redeemed for third-party services (e.g. off-site catering), unless stated otherwise.
11. Final Provisions
By purchasing or ordering a voucher, the customer confirms that they have read and agree to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. For already purchased vouchers, the wording effective on the date of purchase shall apply. The operator is entitled to amend these terms and conditions; the new version will be published on the restaurant’s website.
These terms and conditions are valid and effective as of 1 November 2025.
